Fast Forward Reading Program
Break the Barriers is excited that we have been able to offer the Fast Forward Reading Program since 2007. Fast Forward is a proven technique that uses a sophisticated computer program to significantly improve reading and language skills. Fast Forward develops areas of the brain involving memory, attention, processing speed and sequencing. Each one hour session includes ½ hr reading program and ½ hr physical fitness. The program has grown to over 250 children and families. The profound success of the program is a testament to the 99% improvement in reading for students with a sophisticated, fun and engaging computer program. Principals and teachers applaud the program, parents and students look forward to each session in the lab.
BTB received a Pep Grant through the U.S. Department of Education for the Fast Forward Reading Program. An $18.00 registration fee is all it costs for an amazing program that otherwise would cost $2400 per student. Break the Barriers is in hopes that the program will be renewed for another three years.

M W F 3:30 - 5:00
May come up to 3 times per week.
