Barrier Breakers Mission
To demonstrate Inclusion through Ability Awareness Outreach & Education presentations and performances and celebrate the gifts and talents of all people with various abilities while softening the hearts of audiences and generating hope for all people.
The team is a combination of performers, each with amazing Abilities and range from 6 years to adult. There are currently 58 performers on the team. Each performer has their own definition of triumph, a talent to show and a mission to accomplish.
The Barrier Breakers have accomplished many goals, both as a team and individually in the past twenty years. Besides performing they are keynote speakers conferences, churches, seminars and educational workshops.

International Barrier Breakers
The International Barrier Breakers are the performing ensemble that demonstrates inclusion to audiences throughout the United States and Internationally. Through gymnastics, dance, testimonies, music, workshops, seminars, and more, the Barriers Breakers have softened hearts and opened eyes for ability awareness while generating hope for people and families everywhere.
The team has accomplished many goals, both as a team and individually. They are recognized by the US Department of Education and US Department of Special Education as Role Models for Inclusion. Washington DC, Billy Graham Crusade, and the National Down Syndrome Conference are just a few of the venues their messages have been presented. On an international level, the team was requested by Romania, China, South Africa and the Dominican Republic governments to share techniques and methods of inclusion.
The common thread they all share is they see no differences in people, so when they see someone in a wheelchair or with Down syndrome they dont feel bad for them because they know God has given everyone gifts and abilities to share with others.

Jr. Team and Lil' BB's
The Jr. Team and Lil' BB's are Break the Barriers youngest group of performers with ages ranging from 3-14 years. The Jr. Team performers must qualify for the team by having required skills and try-out for the team each year after being invited by a coach.
Both teams perform together as well as separately. Most of their performances are in the community demonstrating inclusion with gymnastics, dance, sign language and partner stunts. The teams have performed at school carnivals, churches, Fresno State basketball half times, and community hosted events.
The unique quality is their desire to help make each other shine and to work as a unified team.
