Break the Barriers Dance Program
The dance program at Break the Barriers provides people the opportunity to learn a variety of dance styles. The classes are open to all people with various abilities, ages 2 and up.
Classes are taught by Cristal Tiscareno, Director of the Dance Department, and BTBs staff of very talented dancers.
There are classes available in the following areas of dance: Pre-ballet, ballet, various levels of jazz, various levels of tap, lyrical dance, creative dance, dance on wheels, hip-hop and a Special Olympians class. Some of BTBs dancers compete in dance competitions. BTB takes pride on substituting fancy footwork and technique for suggestive movements that are seen and taught in today's dance studios. All of our music is uplifting without bad language or poor messages for today's youth.
